That address is added to the e-mail list for that artist , music genre or Music News.ie service. On each e-mail you receive, you are given the opportunity to unsubscribe; once you unsubscribe, you will no longer receive such e-mails. We do not make any attempts that the provider of the email address is the owner of said email address.

However, Music News.ie will in full compliance with the Data Protection Act 1988 remove any e-mail address from our lists which has been submitted to us by the non-registered owner without charge. Furthermore, to prevent any repeat of the incidence we will block the same email address from being entered into our system again.

A mobile phone number and carrier service provider is only required if you want to receive updates on a particular artist or purchase music via SMS (text messages) sent to your mobile phone. There can be costs associated with receiving SMS (text) messages depending on your wireless carrier and plan and you should take steps to find out what these costs are.

Music News.ie will not be responsible for any extra costs incurred by you via your wireless carrier while using our service.

For contests conducted on this site, we use the personal information you provide only for the purpose of contacting you if you win a prize and sending the prize to you.
