Bob Dylan Returns! PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 11 March 2010 10:44

BDThe iconic musician Bob Dylan announced his return to Ireland yesterday. This time he will play Thomond Park in Limerick on July 4th and for those who aren't so up to date on Bob Dylan, there are always is someone, here is a bit of history.

Bob Dylan has been a major icon and influence for other bands in the music industry for the better part of five decades. The style of his music hasn't been of typical conventional structure. Instead, Mr Dylan combined folk, blues and jazz with some gospel and rock to make what he referred to as; Rockability. And throughout his climb to fame and success, the singer song-writer became, like any other celebrity does, hard to deal with. Social unrest soon followed,a nd that's what separates the good's from the great's.

This summer will be your chance to see the famed musician, and his band, on tour again, if you missed him at The O2 last year. Limerick will be safe-haven, and I know what I just said!, for all Dylan fans, with Thomond Park being swamped with fans! Tickets go on sale March 15th from usual outlets nationwide or alternatively you can purchase them here
