2009 saw some great films - "Avatar" anyone?, yet 2010 looks even more promising. Martin Scorsese's "Shutter Island" is dominating the U.S. chart at the minute, overtaking "Avatar" for the first time in 8 weeks at the box office. Mr. Scorsese teams up with Leonardo DiCaprio (Titanic, The Departed) in this seat-gripping thriller about the world's most insane asylum.


Throughout this year cinema fans can look forward to seeing some legendary motion pictures brought to life, be it an adaptation of a video game or a historical film; 2010 seems to have a great head start.

Sex And The City 2 / May 28th A huge girls' night out when the sequel to SATC returns in May.
Prince of Persia: The Sands Of Time / May 28th Jerry Bruckheimer brings to life the popular video game to the silver screen. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
The A-Team / June 11th The famous TV Series is coming to a theatre near you this June with Hannibal, Faceman, Murdock and B.A. Baracus finding themselves in all sorts of trouble - AGAIN!
Toy Story 3 / June 18th Buzz, Woody and the gang return again only to find themselves trapped in a day care toy box.
Jonah Hex / June 18th Everyone man dream girl Megan Fox co-stars with Josh Brolin in the popular DC Comic Book series.
The Twilight Saga : Eclipse / June 30th In the third installment of the popular Twilight series, the audience will learn who Bella chooses, Edward or the broody, yet dreamy, vampire, OR Jacob.
The Last Airbender / July 2nd M. Night Shyamalan adapts Nickelodeon's famous animated series for the big screen debut, and it's going to be spectacular - for those who enjoy the animated series.
Inception / July 16th Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight) takes helm of this mind-bending staring Leo DiCaprio (his second film this year) and Ellen Page (or Juno).
